Overview

A focused course on the behavioural side of trading. Learners identify the cognitive biases that distort decisions, write their own rules and risk limits, set up a trading journal and plan how to handle drawdowns. Each module ends with a written deliverable, so the course produces a personal rulebook rather than just notes.

Part of Trader (core skills) and Trading Professional (core skills).

Frequently asked questions

Is this course relevant if I am not yet trading?

Yes — in many ways it is ideal. Paper trading with journaling exercises is the safest environment to build psychological habits before real money is at stake.

Do I need to know any technical analysis first?

A basic understanding of charts and trade structure helps the examples make sense. We recommend completing the Stock Market Foundation Program first.

Can I take this alongside one of the technical courses?

Yes — it pairs well with Technical Analysis or Futures & Options Mastery. The frameworks and risk rules you build here apply directly to how you use the technical content.

What if I already keep a trading journal?

Then you are ahead of most learners. Module 5 upgrades your journal with emotional tagging, R-multiple tracking and a weekly review framework.

Will this course make my trading profitable?

No course can promise that. This course addresses the behavioural and risk management habits that affect how consistently you follow your process. It does not replace the need for a sound strategy.
