Overview

A structured first course in the Indian stock market. Learners start from zero — how exchanges, orders and settlement work — then learn to read charts, apply core indicators, evaluate companies with basic fundamentals and build a personal risk framework. The programme closes with a written trading plan, a reviewed paper-trading journal and a capstone presentation.

Part of Trader (foundation) and Trading Professional (foundation).

Frequently asked questions

I have zero knowledge about stocks. Is this really for me?

Yes. This course was designed for complete beginners. We don't assume any prior knowledge — not even basic finance. Module 1 begins with “what is a stock?” and builds from there. If you can use a smartphone and have a PAN card, you have everything you need to start.

Do I need a trading account before joining the course?

No — we walk you through opening a demat and trading account as part of Module 2. You'll learn how to evaluate brokers, understand charges and set up your account step by step. For the first six modules, all practice is done on paper (simulated trades), so there's no financial risk while you're still learning.

How much time do I need to put in each week?

We recommend 3–4 hours per week: roughly 30–40 minutes of video content per weekday, plus one weekend live session of 1.5–2 hours. The course is structured for working professionals and students — you don't need to watch the markets all day.

Will this course make me a profitable trader?

This course gives you a complete foundation — the knowledge, framework, tools and discipline to trade in a structured way. Results depend on how you apply these skills over time. We do not promise profits, and we never will. What the programme does give you is a structured plan, a risk framework and the habits to avoid common beginner mistakes.
