The practice loop

From course concept to reflection

Each cycle starts with a concept from a course and ends with a written reflection that informs the next cycle.

From course concept to reflection
  1. Stage 01Course conceptA specific idea from a course module, such as a chart pattern or a risk rule.
  2. Stage 02PracticeApply the concept in a simulated environment, following written rules.
  3. Stage 03ExperimentChange one variable at a time and observe how decisions change.
  4. Stage 04AnalyseReview decisions and results, including costs and what the test cannot show.
  5. Stage 05ReflectRecord what you learned and what to study or practise next.

Then repeat: each cycle starts from what you measured.

Important

Practice is not real-money trading

AlphaSync practice is designed for learning. It is not a substitute for experience in live markets, and it is not a route to trading results.

  • Practice results do not show how a person or a strategy would perform with real money.
  • Simulated environments do not reproduce every characteristic of live markets.
  • Nothing in AlphaSync or the Academy is investment advice or a recommendation to trade.
  • Decisions to trade with real money are personal, and carry the risk of loss.
