This Refund Policy applies to all courses and programmes offered by Vianmax Academy, a venture of Vianmax Techno Ventures Pvt. Ltd., Anna Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu — 600040, India. Please read this policy carefully before completing your Enrollment.
1. Overview
At Vianmax Academy, we are committed to delivering high-quality, practical financial markets education. We understand that circumstances change, and we have designed a fair and transparent refund policy that balances the needs of our students with the operational realities of managing live and recorded course batches.
Refund eligibility depends on when you request it relative to the course start date, as outlined in the schedule below. We encourage all prospective students to attend a free demo session before Enrollling to ensure the course meets your expectations.

2. Refund Schedule
The following schedule governs refund amounts based on when a written cancellation request is received by Vianmax Academy:

All timings refer to calendar days and are calculated based on the scheduled start date and time of the Enrollled batch. "Course fee" refers to the total amount paid excluding any applicable promotional discounts already applied at the time of Enrollment.
3. Refund Eligibility
To be eligible for a refund under this policy, all of the following conditions must be met:
- The refund request is submitted in writing via email to academy@vianmax.com within the applicable time window
- The request includes your full name, registered email address, course name, batch date, and reason for cancellation
- The Enrollment was made directly through Vianmax Academy's official website or authorised channels
- You have not accessed more than one recorded module (where applicable) or attended more than one live session of the course
- No violation of our Terms of Service has been identified in relation to your account
4. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
- Change of mind after course commencement: Once a course has started and you have attended a session or accessed recorded materials beyond the first module, fees are non-refundable.
- Failure to attend: Non-attendance at live sessions does not entitle you to a refund. Session recordings are typically made available to Enrollled students.
- Technical issues on student's end: Refunds are not issued for connectivity issues, device incompatibility, or software problems on the student's side.
- Partial completion: Students who withdraw mid-course are not entitled to a pro-rated refund of the remaining portion.
- Disciplinary termination: Accounts terminated for violations of the Terms of Service are not eligible for any refund.
- Discounted or scholarship Enrollments: Seats awarded at a special discounted rate or under a scholarship programme are non-refundable.
- Downloadable or immediately accessible materials: Fees for standalone e-books, PDF guides, or downloadable resources are non-refundable once the download link has been accessed.
5. Batch Transfer
If you are unable to attend your Enrollled batch, you may request a one-time batch transfer to a future batch of the same course, subject to the following conditions:
- The transfer request must be submitted at least 2 days before the scheduled start of your original batch
- Transfers are permitted only once per Enrollment
- The transfer must be to a batch of the same course commencing within 6 months of the original batch start date
- If the fee for the new batch is higher than what you originally paid, you will be required to pay the difference
- Batch transfer requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed
To request a batch transfer, email academy@vianmax.com with your name, Enrollment details, and your preferred new batch date. We will confirm availability within 2 business days.
6. Course Cancelled by Vianmax Academy
In the unlikely event that Vianmax Academy cancels a scheduled batch or course due to operational reasons, instructor unavailability, insufficient Enrollments, or force majeure events, you will be offered:
- Option A — Full Refund: A complete refund of the course fee paid, processed within 7 business days of the cancellation notice
- Option B — Free Batch Transfer: A transfer to the next available batch of the same or equivalent course at no additional charge, with priority seating
We will notify you of any cancellation via email and/or WhatsApp at least 48 hours before the scheduled start date where possible. In cases of sudden instructor illness or force majeure, notice may be shorter, but we will prioritise student communication.
7. EMI & Instalment Plans
For courses offered with an instalment payment option:
- Refund eligibility is calculated based on the total course fee, not just the instalments paid to date
- If a refund is due under this policy, it will be calculated on the total fee and paid instalments will be refunded accordingly
- If a refund is not due (e.g., cancellation after commencement), all remaining instalments are still due and payable as per the agreed schedule
- Default on instalment payments may result in suspension of course access and recovery proceedings
Students on instalment plans who wish to cancel before the course starts should contact us immediately at academy@vianmax.com to avoid further instalment charges.
8. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, please follow these steps:
- Step 1: Send an email to academy@vianmax.com with the subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Full Name] — [Course Name]"
- Step 2: Include in the email: your full name, registered mobile number, course name, batch start date, Enrollment confirmation number (from your receipt), and a brief reason for the cancellation
- Step 3: Our team will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and verify your eligibility under this policy
- Step 4: If approved, we will request your bank account details (account holder name, account number, IFSC code) for NEFT/IMPS transfer, or process the refund to the original payment source where possible
- Step 5: You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated
Refund requests submitted by phone, WhatsApp, or social media will not be accepted. All requests must be in writing via email to create a proper record.
9. Refund Processing Timeline
Once a refund is approved, processing times are as follows:
- NEFT / IMPS bank transfer: 3–5 business days from approval
- Original payment source (credit/debit card, UPI, net banking): 5–10 business days, subject to your bank's processing time
- Wallet or payment gateway credit: 3–7 business days
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding national public holidays in India. If you do not receive your refund within the stated timeframe, please contact us at academy@vianmax.com with your refund reference number.
10. Disputes & Grievances
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your refund request, you may escalate your grievance by writing to our Grievance Officer at academy@vianmax.com with the subject line "Refund Grievance — [Your Name]". We will review your case independently and respond within 7 business days.
All disputes arising from this Refund Policy shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, as outlined in our Terms of Service.
We are committed to fair and transparent resolution of all student concerns. Consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are fully respected.
